IT ALL STARTED WITH A MUTTON ROLL…

During lockdown Angelaa’s Grandma would leave food on her doorstep for her to collect. Whilst everyone was baking banana bread and enjoying their free time cooking, she realised there were a ton of recipes out there but nothing that could beat the taste of her Grandma's dishes.

As she collected and shared her Grandma’s food with Susie it occurred to her that she couldn't replicate her recipes and with the pandemic, it only highlighted the importance of keeping their memories alive through photos, videos, and family dishes. In that moment as Susie and Angelaa split a mutton roll, the idea for My Grandma’s Kitchen was born.

We recognise that many traditional recipes are at risk of being forgotten. We encourage the community to come together to share lesser-known family dishes, and compile cherished recipes and cooking tips so that they’re preserved and celebrated for years to come. Come and join us on this experience through our upcoming events.

We hope to see you soon,

Angelaa and Susie
